A
life-long Hibs fan who is not averse to demonstrating just that from time
to time - in particular when facing city rivals Hearts! A former Scotland
Under-21 skipper, Ian has captained Hibs since the departure of John O'Neil
to Falkirk. Gained his first full international honour in a friendly against
Canada at Easter Road, however the last year has been a frustrating one
for Ian. He missed almost the entire 2003/04 season through injury, and
indeed will miss the start of the current campaign - although one of the
most highly regarded players in the Easter Road ranks fully expects to be
back by October. |
